The Oasis at Warwick Mission and Vision

The Oasis at Warwick, an ever-evolving culmination of a dream / concept of its owner, Dan Doyle, began

its transformation upon Mr. Doyle’s purchase of this idyllic 47-acre property in November of 2011. For

most of Dan’s adult life, he envisioned creating a diversified, unique, and welcoming “playspace” that

would have an appeal on multiple levels. The ultimate goal is for The Oasis to build a brewery, host farm

weddings, be a venue for a huge variety of workshops, seminars, and gatherings, dabble in all sorts of

agricultural, nutritional, and holistic endeavors, and to have an 18-hole Disc Golf course with a pro shop.

Dan coined a term for his vision of The Oasis: Fungriculture. He defines Fungriculture as “A philosophy

or practice incorporating aspects of agriculture, permaculture, homesteading, farmsteading, socializing,

and recreating whereby a literally and figuratively evolving landscape is created via encouraging,

sharing, teaching, growing, creating, experimenting, and experiencing in a supportive, collaborative, fun,

frolicky, passionately playful environment in order to nourish the land, the community, and one’s heart,

mind, body, and soul”.
